The Young Innovators Roundtable on 13 June 2025 at Morgenhof Lifestyle Golf Estate in Akasia drew 142 attendees and brought youth entrepreneurs into direct conversation with senior officials from the Gauteng Legislature, the City of Tshwane, the Black Management Forum, and YARDSA.
The keynote and panel speakers — Deputy Chief Whip Ntsako Kevin Mogobe, City of Tshwane Director Onkgopotse Thompson-Peete, BMF's Mokete Radebe, and YARDSA Gauteng Chairperson David Xaba — delivered direct, role-grounded perspectives on what it takes to build long-term ownership in township economies. Lesedi Ledwaba directed the programme.
The event established the model for YiB roundtables: serious institutional voices, intentional convening, no theatre.
