The 28 November 2025 stakeholder launch at Akasia Chambers was the institutional debut of YiB's two flagship deliverables: the YouthXchange platform and the KYDS (Kasi Youth Development Space) hub framework.
70 invited stakeholders — DFI representatives, private-sector partners, and YiB Fellows — convened in a council-chamber setting to receive the framework, the funding structure, and the path to the public expo. The "Strictly Suits and Sneakers" dress code signalled the tone: institutional credibility delivered without losing the township voice.
This event sits at the centre of a deliberate two-step institutional sequence — closed-door stakeholder launch in November 2025, followed by the public expo on 3 July 2026 at Ruth Malewa Hall.
